How I got here
I've known about Newgrounds in the past for Geometry Dash music and occasional mentions of it on the internet about how chaotic it can be. Now, in 2024, I really got into digital drawing and searched for platforms to share my art on. Seeing Newgrounds as one of the options, knowing how chaotic it can be, and considering how much I like 2D violence and overall freedom, I decided it's the most perfect choice for me.
Introduction of me
I'm mildly experienced in game development using Godot, I'm one of the best players in the World's Hardest Game community, having completed 3 out of the 4 games in zero deaths, I played Terraria A LOT in the past, having gained more than 1,400 hours on Steam by now, and I think the Little Einsteins is an excellent cartoon.
I'm trying to be incredibly nice to people, but may fail to make that known.
I actually like the idea of being the 2nd place because it means I can help the 1st place to have a worthy ultimate battle. I like sometimes being the supporter rather than the leader.

Welcome to Newgrounds.
Thank you for breaking with the long tradition of Geometry Dash-players coming here, immediately uploading Suno AI-generated tracks, getting caught, getting banned from the Audio Portal, complaining about having to follow the rules that they agreed to without having read them, and then leaving forever.
As you might imagine, seeing that kind of behavior on display over and over and over and over again has resulted in a piss-poor reputation for the Geometry Dash-crowd. We 'know' not all people who like to play GD are like that - but sometimes it becomes hard to remember. Although you already stand out from 'that part' of the GD-community to the point that a brief look at your profile will make other users put down their torches and pitchforks, the GD at the end of your user name will raise eyebrows "every now and then". There is nothing I can do about that, but I wanted you to know that despite the thoughtful impression you leave on your profile, your username 'can' have a negative effect on how others will react to you at times - especially when they hang out in the Audio Portal & Audio Forum a lot.
I hope you will have an enjoyable stay regardless.

Oh, the experience with Geometry Dash players that you described is incredibly unfortunate.
I'll probably be able to handle some people having questionable first impressions from the "GD" in my name. Thanks for welcoming, by the way!
